We absolutely adored completing this project. The large, open-concept kitchen features a sea of white custom cabinetry beautifully contrasted by rich oak hardwood floors and a pop of dark open shelving. The pendant lights are both stunning and functional - illuminating the massive island yet having a fun, uneven arrangement to draw the eye in while also making the space feel a bit more comfortable and informal. The island's countertop is made of African tapestry granite with a leather finish. The perimeter countertops and backsplash are made of Aurea Stone's Lincoln marble. The ceramic pieces pair well with the modern abstract painting, serving to connect the kitchen to the living area. The dining table was custom designed and built by Four Board Woodworks and is made of walnut. This piece allows for a meal to be enjoyed while conversing with those in the kitchen. It also creates separation between the kitchen and living area without being disruptive to the open-concept layout. And how about that zinc hood? Another custom job that was completed with the help of Four Board Woodworks.
HD had the opportunity to decorate an early 1900's San Francisco Edwardian flat for a bachelor that wanted a dramatic feel.
HD remodeled this condo from top to bottom for a retired electrical engineer who wanted to be able to watch 2 TV's at once.
When these clients realized they had to repair this bathroom due to a water leak 2 months before guests were arriving, the contacted HD to remodel this small space in less than a month.
The perfect balance of the color scheme is shown in this corner, Aqua, yellow and Living Coral
