A little about me and the process...
I've known I wanted to be an Interior Designer since I was young. Growing up I would rearrange my bedroom many times over with the help of my Mom. I attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, FL and recieved a Bachelor of Science Design in Interior Design. Today I reside in Louisville, KY and work with clients in all aspects of Home Renovation and Interior Design. My goal as a designer is to create a space you love and want to be in. I try to find out which styles my clients are most drawn to so I can gear the selections towards that focus.
Stylewise, I don’t always conform to one specific look or design aesthetic as I work with a lot of different clients and design styles. Some of my favorite design elements include clean lines, simple patterns, pops of color with natural elements added in like wood tones, soft metals or marble. Functional living is also a huge part of my design aesthetic as I want my designs to work for my clients in a personal way that is comfortable in their everyday life.
My favorite part of the design process is the inital call with the client. I love to hear about how they will use the space I am designing and what they most want to get out of this process. Typically I will provide a few different design boards or ideas so the client may be able to pick what they like best. I feel this ensures success as they will have more control over the direction and selections made for the project. This also helps me to narrow down the vast array of products out in the market today.
